  1. Goin Away

Our first OFFICIAL single is finally on general release!! This one has been a long time coming but it is here in all its glory. To celebrate the release we have also been featured artists on 'THE NEXT BIG THING' podcast, an absolute honour! You can check out the podcast by following the link below and download the single through the website, or iTunes.

It's been a funny old year for The Ladz from BKK,  wayward bassists, crazy journeys, incredible shows and a few cheeky festivals. Wouldnt have changed it for the world, and we've got our last show for a little while coming up next week in the rockin London town of CAMDEN. At the Dublin and Castle this one is sure to go off. Cannot wait for it!! We will see you all there, shots in hand ;) xxxxx

It's finally finished!!!! Can you believe it??!! Almost a year ago we walked out of that recording studio heads held high knowing we had an absolute gem of a record in our midst. Through agonizingly slow communication from our producer mastering the tracks and a whole host of other stresses and difficulties over the last year it has finally been completed, fresh, exquisite! Are you as excited as we are??

And so now the final push to get it out there, through media, promotion, illustration, cd printing and distribution. All we can say is it WILL be here soon, and you guys will be the first to know! In the mean time, we've added a whole host of new dates to the schedule so check out the shows here and an update of our day to day events on facebook here. Come find us and come on down for a tequila and a dance! Ya never know you might even get a bit of free merch ;)  We will also be playing a load of open mics around Derby to get the city pumped and get ourselves ready for the festival season. The first is only two weeks away can you bloody believe it. We cant! Bring on the tents booze, camping chairs and chill, yes yes, the sun is ready for us and were only just starting :) xxxxxxxxx

WERE THROUGH TO THE FINALS ON 27TH MARCH @ THE SHED LEICESTER!!! What a rock and rollercoaster of a past few months. Where to start! With ALE of course, always start with ale. The Roundhouse in Derby played host to the National Ale festival sporting over 600 ales in one od Derby's oldest buildings, and the LADZ provided the soundtrack. What a banger it was, big crowd full to the brim of ale all dancin to the sounds of BKK. It was a peach! From that we've been singled out for gigs all round Derby and even a mini music fesitval DERBY LIVE in AUGUST.

In the time from the last post we've also got a CD up for sale, a selection of new and old tracks, and been put through to the FINALS OF SOME SORT OF SHOWCASE IN DERBY!!!! Oh yes, out of over 50 bands applying to play, 20 through to the showcase, it has now been wittled down to just 5.  Could not be more chuffed. Its on EASTER SUNDAY so get your chocolate eggs and shot glasses out and get ready for us. Were gonna fuckin SMASH IT :) Love ya xxx

ON TO THE SEMI'S . . .

WE SMASHED IT!! Through to the next round the semi finals of Dreaming in Colour productions 'Some sort of showcase'! It almost looked like the gig would never happen for us, Sidders got stuck in Manchester after some fat bastard delayed his plane back from Germany, I suddenly became half blind, and Jon came all the way up from Kent to make it to the venue 20 mins before our set was due to start. Then a broken bass amp and kick drum pedal halfway through the set seemed to scupper the sound but as we always do, we powered on through and you cheered and clapped and whooped through it all!! so Thank you!!! On top of that we got confirmed for the National Ale festival, some 2500 people milling around drinking 400 different ales, bloody perfect if ya ask me. And also been contacted by a Phillipino radio station of all people who want to use Overstay blues! Its been a crazy week, but we are stronger than ever right now and ready to fuckin smash it!! So come down drink in hand, and dance and drink and party like theres no tomorrow, cause lets face it, there never is. . . . . .

2016 LETS AVE IT!!
